Where To Wear Your Scarf
This is a post I’m very excited to share because I feel quite passionately that you should wear your scarves more that 30 times, as per Livia Firth’s “30 wears” campaign.
There’s no question Lois Avery cashmere scarves are meant to accessorize all your autumn and winter occasions, however, they’re also perfect for wearing in the summertime and styling in your everyday life. I for one am rarely spotted without one tied around my neck or draped through my arms no matter the season.
However, if you need a bit of convincing, I understand, which is why I’ve rounded up some photo inspiration and written out a list of summertime and “in-between” season activities that are perfect for wearing a scarf!
Dinner at the beach or outdoor date night
This might be one of my favourite times to wear one of my cashmere scarves. It feels a bit romantic and with a beach breeze you’ll be thankful you have an extra layer. Simply drape it over your shoulders on top of your outfit and you’ll be ready for a cool summer evening.
Anytime I’m near water I always have to have one of my scarves with me. It makes me feel like a real Italian paired with chic sunglasses and a straw hat.
Whether you’re on a beach or strolling through a city centre, sunsets tend to go really well with cashmere scarves. Trust me, I’ve done the research!
I’ve always admired Italian women because they make even the simplest moments in life look chic, including family activities like cycling, sightseeing, or having a picnic.
Travel days are perhaps amongst the best for wearing a scarf. After all, who wants to be stuck on a chilly airplane with no layers?
I hope this helps you see the versatility in your scarf. The possibilities really are endless! The next time you wear it out, be sure to tag Lois Avery on Instagram so we can see how you styled it!
